Courses at the CTC@Oberon

• We run courses on an ‘as needs’ basis and we have lists at the CTC where you can register your interest.
• The CTC arranges for an ‘outside’ tutor or a volunteer to take the classes.
• We run the courses when we have 6 – 8 participants registered.
• For example, we are currently taking names for:
  • MYOB
    How to set up chart of accounts, controlling data, reconciliations and more!
  • Excel Spreadsheets
    How to create workbooks, insert data, create formulas, print worksheets and more.
  • IT for Farmers 
    Increase your IT skills and maximize your business efficiency and effectiveness. Includes word processing, spreadsheets and effective use of the internet. Learn how to track rainfall, follow stock prices etc.
  • Keyboarding
    Teach you to touchtype and use your fingers correctly.
  • PowerPoint
    Create creative and effective presentations.
  • WordPressing
    Learn how to create and modify documents and learn tips to make it easier.
  • First Aid
    A 1 day workshop.

We can also arrange 1-1 training on many computer related courses (these cost $30 an hour)

We also have a good set of links to online learning websites – you are welcome to work at your own pace through topics that interest you. If you attend Wednesday afternoons then the cost is $5 for the 2 hour session, other times we just charge you the time you are on the computer ($4 an hour). Register your interest now!
