Wonderful sites to explore! Seniors can reminisce; students can research and the rest of us can see how it was for our parents and grand parents.

“The NSW Migration Heritage Centre is a NSW Government initiative at the Powerhouse Museum and we are supported by the Community Relations Commission. The Centre is an online heritage centre, not unlike a web-based immigration museum. The web lets us reach audiences no matter where they live across NSW and the content reflects many rural and regional communities.

The website address is www.migrationheritage.nsw.gov.au

Also well worth a look is our ongoing online ‘Belongings’ exhibition to seniors – it is www.belongings.com.au – the exhibition features memories, personal mementos and
photographs of former migrants who arrived in Australia after the Second World War.
