Cleaning your LCD monitors August 22, 2008

  • This may be common sense to many of you, but you may also have been putting off a much-needed clean for a while because you don’t quite know how to do it.
  • The basic warning is NOT to use glass cleaner, just a clean, soft, lint-free cloth, paper, or microfiber cloth with plain water (distilled if your town water is very hard) and a mild, non-alcoholic detergent if you have to.
  • Turn the screen off and cool down first, and don’t spray water directly on your monitors.
