  • The evening computer workshop for adults which will be starting later this month will be free for all members of community support organisations like the Men’s Shed, Meals-on-Wheels, Hospital Auxiliary or similar organisations and only $5 per week for all other attendees.
  • This workshop will be conducted in an easy to understand manner that will help instil confidence and add to one’s ability when using a computer.
  • If you are a parent or guardian it will also give you the necessary skills to understand what children should and should not be doing on the Internet.
  • This workshop will cover the early years of computing right up to the present day.
  • It will also debunk various computer urban myths.
  • Plus, we will also pull a part a computer and show you how everything goes together and how each part works with all other parts and explain why some computers cost less than a $1,000 while others can cost many thousand of dollars.
  • This hopefully will prove to be of great assistance when you are about to buy a new computer or an accessory.
  • Owning a computer can be fun, but only if you know how to take care of it by doing your weekly housekeeping and applying the necessary updates when they are released.
  • All this and more will be covered in this workshop over a period of several weeks.
  • So, if this workshop is of interest to you or your organisation please register your interest by phoning the CTC on 6329-8210.
  • Also, don’t forget Julie Stott “WordPress” workshop on “How to construct and develop a website that can actively promote your business, hobby or craft”. The starting date for this workshop will depend upon the number of people who wish to participate, and therefore, it is very important that you register your interest ASAP by phoning the CTC on 6329-8210
